There is no doubt that these finches, with their remarkably colored plumage, can be accepted as the most beautiful of the finches. They are also one of the most satisfying cage or aviary birds, providing of course, that one ensures the bird gets all it requires to keep it in top condition.

Not recommended as a starter bird, considering they are not the easiest to breed and can be costly.
